ninct file to edit, I had trouble getting others to work, this one works everytime. Here's a small taste of the kind of stuff I usually come up with from symphobia (all symphobia 1 and 2). I really think the strong suit of the symphobia libraries is in the unique swells and fx styled instruments, not so much the basic legato / stacatto stuff, usually I prefer LASS or one of the pure horn libraries for that stuff. I think the best thing to do is use a different library for each instrument. I prefer LASS for strings, Kirk Hein for Horns, and Cinewinds for winds. For percussion it can be anything depending on the vibe, there are so many great percussion libraries it's mind boggling. But no library seems to cover any of them fully. One library will have a better sounding stacatto but one library will have a better vibrato patch or fx patch and etc. So the only libraries I have which are actually intended to emulate analog synths are 1.) Pinknoise Voyager 2.) Pinknoise Revolver 3.) Analog Monsters and 4.) Transistor Revolution (808) its just all about finding what you like from each library. So I used those and about 8 patches to come up with this little mini demo that gives you an idea of how close some of the sounds get. There are obviously hundreds of patches in these libraries and thousands of combinations so keep in mind it's limited and made in a hurry but it should give you some idea.
